PRIVACY POLICY

This policy applies to rarekolesar.com and all tools available on it, including the SLM DfAM Checker and the production analysis application.

Last updated: 14 October 2026.

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is Svetozar Kolesar, Belgrade, Serbia, rarekolesar.com. Contact for all data questions: [email protected].

We process data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

2. What data we collect

a) Your email address, to send you the report and keep track of your free analyses.

b) Your name, company name and phone number, if you enter them in the form.

c) Your answers to the questionnaire that accompanies the analysis, such as material, planned quantity and the purpose of the part.

d) The model file you submit and the report produced from it.

e) Technical data needed to run and protect the service, such as IP address, time of access and a cookie that recognises you.

f) Information you submit through the contact form (name, email address and message), and the email address you use to subscribe to the newsletter.

We do not collect payment card data or special categories of personal data.

3. Why and on what basis

a) Producing and sending the report: the processing is necessary to provide the service you requested.

b) Counting free analyses, preventing abuse and keeping the system secure: our legitimate interest.

c) Responding to your enquiry or expert review request: your request.

d) Updates on additive manufacturing: only with your separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not use model files for any other purpose, including improving the tool, without your separate consent.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. To run the service we use providers who process data on our behalf:

a) the hosting provider whose servers run the application and store the data;

b) the email delivery service (Resend);

c) the artificial intelligence system that writes the report conclusion (Anthropic). It receives the analysis results, views of the part and your questionnaire answers, but not the model file or your name, company name, phone number or email address.

d) Replit (website hosting and visit analytics), Cloudflare (content delivery and protection from form abuse), Google (Google Analytics and visit statistics), and Metricool (visit statistics and traffic sources).

Some of these providers are located outside Serbia, including the United States. Transfers are made with the safeguards required by law and by our agreements with the providers.

5. How long we keep data

a) Model file: 30 days after the analysis, then permanently deleted.

b) Report: permanently. On request, we remove the link between the report and your email address, so the report no longer contains data that identifies you.

c) Email address, name, company name, phone number and questionnaire answers: while you use the service, or until you request deletion.

d) Subscription to updates: until you unsubscribe.

e) Technical data: no longer than 12 months.

6. Cookies

The site uses a necessary cookie that remembers email confirmation in the SLM DfAM Checker, as well as Google Analytics cookies for visit statistics. We do not use advertising cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw your consent to updates at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send your request to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days at the latest.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

8. Security

We protect data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Only we and our providers have access to data, to the extent needed to run the service.

9. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. The current version and the date of the last change are always published on this page.

10. Production analysis applications

If you submit a production-analysis application, we process your name, email, optional phone number, position, company, industry, selected service, production answers and part description. We use this information only to review and reply to the application, not for marketing.

CAD files are used only to assess the application. They are stored privately in App Storage, are not publicly accessible, and can be accessed only by a signed-in administrator. Files are automatically deleted 30 days after upload. The notification email contains your answers and download links that require administrator sign-in; the files themselves are not sent as email attachments.

We use hosting and email providers to store files and send notifications; they process data on our behalf. We do not share files with equipment manufacturers or service bureaus. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of application data by emailing [email protected].
